TPMS (Tire pressure monitoring system) is developed to warn the driver when a tire is significantly under inflated. It applies to passenger cars, trucks, multipurpose passenger vehicles, and buses.

With TPMS installed, the driver be warned when the pressure in any single tire or in each tire in any combination of tires, up to a total of four tires, has fallen to 20 percent or more below the vehicle manufacturer's recommended cold inflation pressure for the tires, or a minimum level of pressure specified in the standard, whichever pressure is higher.

As more consumers are becoming aware of the danger and consequences of rollover, concern is focused particularly on vehicles with a higher center of gravity, such as SUVs, hence demand is set to increase for enhanced counter measures and occupant protection systems.

Rollover sensing system is designed to warn the driver when driving behavior or conditions create any unsafe inclination of the vehicle, which helps reduce the possibility of rollover accidents and possible damages, injuries or fatalities.

With a angular rate sensor (gyro) that detects when a vehicle is beginning to rollover and enables relative protection functions, such as firing side airbags, pre-tensioning seat belts, etc.
